What are the steps of effective workplace management?
As we all know, there are generally three stages of an employee’s life cycle: hiring employees, employee management and employee terminations. Being an effective manager in all three of these stages is critical for successful workplace management.
Workplace Management Stage 1: Pre Employment (Hiring)
The onboarding process is so important in order to kick-start effective workplace management. Onboarding is so much more than simply filling out a few forms (although these forms are important!). It represents the opportunity to introduce the new employees to the business, their colleagues and most importantly your expectations. Workplace Management Stage 2: Employee Management
