Workplace Relations and Advisory Manager
Wes O’Donnell is a very experienced workplace relations consultant with a strong legal background.
‘I began my career working as a commercial lawyer and, through that, was lucky enough to get the opportunity to work on some exciting and complex workplace relations matters. I soon discovered that my real passion was with employment law and moved into workplace relations consulting. I enjoy consulting because it enables me to become part of the solution, rather than being perceived as part of the problem. Over the last eight years, I’ve been lucky enough to hold senior workplace relations roles in both Australia and the UK, including a stint at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London during the depths of the GFC.’
Wes’s expertise in workplace relations lies in:

Wes has also had a great deal of experience running seminars and training on employment issues that may arise at any stage during the employee lifecycle, and as an accredited workplace mediator he regularly conducts mediation sessions to address areas of conflict within the workplace.
His role at HR Assured involves ensuring that the quality of the service provided to clients through the compliance audit process and the Telephone Advisory Service. As the Manager of Workplace Relations and Advisory Team, he supervises the staff undertaking the compliance audits, as well as those assisting our clients via our Telephone Advisory Service. In addition, he is responsible for ensuring that our clients receive adequate training concerning the use and optimisation of HRA Cloud.
